The evolution of eco-friendly textiles has progressed through distinct eras: from the 1.0 era of natural fibers, to the current 2.0 era of recycled fibers, and will undoubtedly advance into the future 3.0 era of bio-based fibers. Aether-Tex is not confined to recycled fabrics. Embracing the shift toward biodegradable textiles, we proactively pioneer bio-based materials.
Bio-based fibers are derived from renewable biomass such as plant starch, cellulose, vegetable oils and other natural raw materials, replacing traditional petroleum-based chemicals at the source. Featuring a complete biological cycle, they can biodegrade naturally after use, greatly reducing carbon emissions and environmental impact. Compared with conventional fabrics, bio-based fibers offer multiple advantages including low carbon footprint, eco-friendliness, stable performance and circular sustainability, making them the core symbol of eco-textiles entering the 3.0 era.
